Sick Care v Health Care

We live in a culture where we treat things. Medicine is the art of naming things (diagnosis), and treating the named condition (drugs, radiation, surgery).

Understandably many people come into a Chiropractic office expecting a treatment for their injury or illness or disease. Most people are looking for a form of treatment other than a medication...but a treatment none the less.

Here is what is interesting...in our office we do not try to treat anything, however, we see an amazing track record of people regaining their health, getting of medications, and optimizing their health. This is because we allow you body to adapt and heal by restoring nerve flow to every cell, tissue and organ.

This list below very simply illustrates the difference in approach between the medical care we are all used to (which is really sick care) and chiropractic (health care):

Chiropractic Care: Supporting life
Medical Care: Fighting disease

Chiropractic Care: Nerve based
Medical Care: Blood based

Chiropractic Care: corrects cause
Medical Care: Treats symptoms

Chiropractic Care: Offers health care
Medical Care: Renders sick care

Chiropractic Care: Sees whole person
Medical Care: Sees body as parts

Chiropractic Care: Produces positive effects
Medical Care: Causes side effects

Chiropractic Care: Helps resist germs
Medical Care: Threatened by germs

Chiropractic Care: Revives organs
Medical Care: Removes organs

Chiropractic Care: Natural
Medical Care: Artificial

Chiropractic Care: Safe
Medical Care: Risky

Oh, it's too bad doc,

Often and I do mean quite often I will try to talk to someone in the public about their health and I will get the flat answer -- "Oh my spine is too bad to be helped!" I think this speaks to the very heart of why we as a nation are sick and suffering. We forget that the body is in a constant state of both break down AND repair. Every day millions of cells are replaced inside each and everyone of us. The human body with proper nourishment, balance, nerve supply and exercise is capable of overcoming and healing so many "illnesses." People need to understand that in every moment of life there is an opportunity to improve our health the choices we make on a daily basis help determine our future self. Many times people assume that if they have tried one thing and nothing changed then there is no help. Let me tell you - This is the place where comebacks happen, the battle between sickness and health is wone at our office adjustment by adjustment. It's never to late to heal!

Is SPLENDA safe??

We can't trick nature humans have never once made an artificial sweetener tha hasn't caused damage!

Sucralose can cause one to suffer from sluggishness, fatigue, make legs feel like
lead weights, mood swings, severe cramps (female), intense pain, painful bowel
movements, bloating, dizziness, confusion, and more.
Seven (7) out of ten (10) American women consume sucralose daily.
“The artificial sweetener sucralose (Splenda) is made by binding three chlorine
atoms to a molecule of sugar. The problem: Chlorine reacts with organic material to create chlorination by-products (CBPs) that can trigger chronic symptoms like fatigue, headaches and brain fog, as well as reproductive and immune problems.”
“Sucralose is found in nearly 4,000 food, beverage and health-care products,
including diet drinks, ice cream, protein bars, vitamins and toothpaste.” It is also
found in gum, over-the-counter drugs, and salad dressings.
Consumer use of sucralose has grown annually by 10%.
70% of those who consume sucralose (Splenda) will have a sensitivity to it and
develop symptoms.

What About Splenda (sucralose)?

Up Date on the Haiti orphanage. 4 nannies still 'missing'. 11 family or the staff known dead, with more still missing. Be thankful for living in the USA & pray for them. Dr. Michael

Side Effects

I had the television on in the background while I was doing things around the house over the weekend. Every commercial break was just a string of pro-drug ads. They were a constant barrage- no wonder Americans take 60% of all the medication created yet we are only 5% of the world population. Drug ads are jammed down our collective throats they are on TV, in the newspaper, it seems like every other page in any magazine is a drug ad. How many drugs does it take to make a person healthy?? A recent study found that the average 65 year old is currently on 17 different medications. 17, I'll say that again 17. Is more medication the answer? If so why is America ranked 37th of all industrialized countries. If medication were the answer to health and we take the most shouldn't we be the healthiest??! Yet we are not. It is time to rethink health and wellness. We have the answers.

Subluxation

SUBLUXATIONS DESTROY LIVES.

Pressure on nerves over time will destroy a persons health and then their body.

There few faster ways to sickness and disorder in the body than allowing a subluxation to remain uncorrected .

Pills may cover the symptoms but every time medicine will fail. Pressure on a nerve is a physical problem and no chemical in the world will remove a bone from a nerve.

Chiropractic can and does remove pressure on nerves and frees the nervous system (which controls every other system in the body) to function at it's highest potential.

Start thinking right about being healthy

Instead of studying sick and dieing cells, tissues, and organs to learn how to be healthy (Allopathic Medicine) why don't we study healthy, living cells, tissue, and organs to learn how to be healthy?

Would you study divorced couples to learn how to have a happy marriage? NO
Would you study the poor to learn how to be wealthy? No

Study the healthiest people you know and you will find:
-Exercise
-Good Nutrition
-Happiness and laughter
-100% nerve supply to every cell, tissue and organ in the body!!!

What are you missing?

Why Don't We Ever Stop Talking

At Brackney Chiropractic we are committed to educate and lead you along the PROCESS of Wellness. We do this because the current Allopathic model of health care is not working. Every year 220,000 people die from the right drug, at the right dose, to the right person at the right time. This stat is from the Journal of American Medical Association from Johns Hopkins, a very well respect bunch. When you add this to the number of deaths due to the wrong drug at the wrong dose and the number of deaths due to unnecessary surgeries you start to wonder why we are so entrenched in this model of drugs and surgery.
For this reason we will never stop educating all that will listen on how to take control of their lives and start being WELL!!!!!!
