We can all improve the quality of our lives and the level of our health. We just need to raise our standards, change some habits and start aiming for constant and never ending improvement.
One of my favorite quotes is "If we always do what we've always done, we will always get what we always had."
If we always eat junk food and live our lives seated we will always be fat!!
If we always sit in front of the TV watching negative programs for 3 hours before going to bed we will always wake up tired and depressed!!
If we always ignore the subluxations in our spine without getting them checked we will continue to have increased levels of disease, dysfunction, and decreased health and healing!!
So just for an experiment lets try something new.
Raise your physical standards: Shed the extra 10 pounds. Get to bed earlier. Wake 15 minutes sooner. Exercise five minutes longer.
Raise your intellectual standards: Shun all commercial radio, television and newspapers. Read the books you've neglected. Journal. Re-listen to those motivational tapes.
Raise your emotional standards: Stop all gossip. Drive the speed limit. Say, "I love you" to three people today. Introduce yourself to a stranger. Let someone else to be right.
Raise your spiritual standards: Worship. Fast. Express your gratitude. Forgive others. Forgive yourself. Conduct random acts of kindness. Secretly give money to someone in need.
As you hold yourself to higher standards, the new you attracts a new set of people, things and circumstances! Live by these new rules for the next week and let me know the changes you see and feel!!!
