"Side Effects" on a killing spree!

Avandia the diabetes drug is showing lethal side effects that the company is strongly suspected of knowing about and not informing patients.

GlaxoSmithKline finds itself defending its product Avandia following a recent U.S. Senate report citing an FDA estimate that Avandia resulted in 83,000 heart attacks between 1999 and 2007. (That is slightly more people than in all of Canton MI -that's right - a heart attack for all between Michigan Ave and Joy and Ridge Rd and Lotz.)

In 2007, Dr. Steven Nissen published a study showing that those taking Avandia had a 43 percent higher risk of having a heart attack and a 64 percent greater chance of dying from a heart attack than those not taking the drug.

The Senate report cites GSK for their failure in that they "had a duty to sufficiently warn patients in a timely manner." The report indicates that not only did they fail to notify the public in a timely manner of the drug's risks, but that the company tried to downplay the potential risks.

Folks, every time you see or hear on a commercial the "side effects" of a medication those things happened to real people during the usage of that toxin. Think carefully before taking medication. Choose natural solutions!

Yours in Health,

Dr. Brian
